We just got back from the most amazing week in British Columbia- Vancouver is hands down our favorite West Coast city to visit, and this time we added a few days up on the Sunshine Coast

Fresh seafood, sushi and multiple beaches later we are returning home tan and happy.

The Sunshine Coast was gorgeous and the perfect spot for hiking and relaxing out in nature - we stayed at a cabin up in Madeira Park, and enjoyed hiking out to Skookumchuck Narrows and beaching it up at Ruby Lake. Our cabin had multiple decks overlooking the water so we had sushi takeout and wine while the kiddos ran around and played. Total relaxation mode!

Once back in Vancouver we stayed in an air bnb just a block from Stanley Park! Our go to activities with the boys include walking around Stanley Park, and enjoying everything there from the beaches to the splash pad and playgrounds.

The aquarium is amazing and we spent the one rainy morning there... There are multiple beaches to choose from and a huge splash pad, all at Stanley Park!

Another must do is the aqua ferry over to Granville Island and market - a huge farmers market and tons of local artists. The ferry is only 5 minutes but so fun for the kids!

The last highlight of Vancouver is the amazing Asian food- we have several don’t miss restaurants every time we are up there! Rodney’s Oyster Bar has two locations and the best seafood! My hubby is hooked on their oysters and they have a generous pour for their wine. A little more hole in the wall is Oyster Express in Chinatown - it’s great for happy hour oysters and wine, and is the cutest little place. For dumplings Dinesty Dumpling House in West End is amazing!!
