My Favorite Fall Accessory: Wooden Watches
As I've gotten older, I've started looking for
classic and timeless accessories
for my nicer pieces, that I mix with inexpensive and fun statement necklaces. When my husband went to Hawaii two years ago he came back raving about wooden watches and put them on my radar. When
reached out to me, I was so excited to add a gorgeous wooden watch to my Fall wardrobe.
I love the wooden watch trend this Fall, and how the gorgeous wood tones complement all of the fun reds and yellows that are so trendy this Fall. I chose the dark sandalwood & emerald watch from the Frankie series, and love the rich tones of the sandalwood and the fun pop of color on the watch face. I am so into mixing metals right now, and plan on wearing this watch as its own statement piece, as well as layered with delicate silver bracelets. Here are a few of my favorite ways that I have styled my new wooden watch so far:
1. Showing off the texture of the wooden watch by adding a few bracelets, mixing metals and textures.
2. Pairing the watch with a fun lace dress: all about the textures and a minimalist outfit
3. Another lace dress and watch combo for the win, this time paired with a statement necklace that pulls out the gold accents on the watch.
